Mid-year update

It's been a busy year so far! You can see on my contact page that I've done a number of events this year - way more than last year. At the time of writing this, there are still a few more to go! This coming weekend, August 8-9, I'll be in Yakima, WA for Fan Fest Northwest.

The following weekend, August 15-16, I'll be at Powerhouse Comic Con in Pasco, WA, though I don't yet know my table placement. At 3 PM on Sunday, I'll also be giving a short talk about my experience as an indie comic creator. If you're going to Powerhouse, feel free to come and ask me questions! I'll do my best to answer.

Fan Fest and Powerhouse are both new conventions for me and I'm eager to see how they go!

Shop updates

So! What am I selling at cons? A lot of stickers, mostly, but also some other things! I have a number of new items - prints, patches, pinback buttons - that need to be photographed and added to the online store.

I'm having trouble with prints at the moment. Currently I have them fulfilled via Gooten, a print-on-demand service. After buying samples of a few different options to see how their various offers compare, I've figured out which types of prints have the level of quality I'm looking for. However, the problem is that Gooten has discontinued some of the sizes I liked (or just consistently has them 'out of stock'). If you have recommendations for other print-on-demand companies, especially ones that offer 10in by 15in prints, let me know!

Truthfully, at some point I may just need to get in touch with a local printing business. It would be a bit more of an up-front commitment, but most likely better in the long run. But in the meantime, I'm doing what I can!

Art updates

I have a lot of Pride art from May, since that's when I held my Pride Month special. There are a few items from June, and a smattering of Art Fight attacks from July. I'll get all of these posted to the art section in the next few weeks, but I have con prep to contend with as well (see above)!

Commissions

Commissions are open. I can currently turn around some smaller commission types quickly. Given the current queue, there might be a bit of a wait for larger pieces, but if you're looking to get something done, feel free to email me and we can discuss it!
