Refund, Exchange, and Return Policy

This policy pertains to physical or digital purchases made through the shop. For refund-related information about commissions, please see the terms of service associated with commissioned art.

Refunds and Exchanges for Physical Items

Refunds are only available for physical items (stickers, patches, buttons, etc). Refunds or exchanges will be issued in the following situations:

  • You have received the wrong item
  • You have received the correct item, but it is considerably damaged

To claim a refund, please email meg-james@meg-james.com with your order number, the date of your order, and a photo showing what you received. This information will be reviewed to confirm whether your item is either the wrong item or has been damaged in transit. If you have received the wrong item, you may choose to receive either a refund or the correct item sent to you. If the item has been damaged in transit, you may choose to receive either a refund or an undamaged version of the damaged item sent to you. (If the item in question is out of stock, you will only be offered a refund.)

Refunds can be discussed, but will not necessarily be issued, in the following situations:

  • You have not received your item within an expected timeframe

In this case, email meg-james@meg-james.com with your order number and the date of your order. Tracking information will be reviewed to determine whether your order was delivered. If the tracking suggests that a delivery was made, you may not receive a refund. If the tracking suggests that your order was not delivered successfully, or was returned to sender, or appears to have become “stuck” in the mailing process somewhere along the way, a refund may be issued. If you are ordering from outside of the United States, please be patient! Packages often take a while to proceed through customs.

Refunds and Exchanges for Digital Goods

Refunds are not available for digital goods. All sales for digital goods are final.

However, if you have purchased a digital good and have received the wrong item (wrong files associated with the purchase) or have experienced a major technical problem with the item (files that are corrupted, missing, or incomplete) please send an email to meg-james@meg-james.com to report the problem and receive the correct item(s).
